The Bible tells us time and time again, though, that we're wrong in that thought. We're wrong to think there's not someone looking out for our best interest. We're wrong to think that everything in our life is complete crap, and that it'll never turn around. God promises it will, and he always delivers on his promises.
Isaiah 58:11 is probably my favorite example of this. We're blatantly told that the Lord will provide. He always provides. He provided for his children when they were wandering in the desert. He provided for the masses with a couple fish and a few loaves of bread. He provides his children time and time again with everything they need to succeed. After all, hasn't he provided us with the very thing we need most to succeed - his Word?
It can feel like life bogs you down on a regular basis, but I challenge you in those moments to dive into the Bible. Look through God's word for help and encouragement. Look to him for strength to get through the day, and a reminder of his eternal love. There's never been a time he hasn't brought you what you need, in the end. Sometimes it just takes longer than we'd like to get there, and sometimes we veer off the intended path.
The Lord always provides for his children. In the end, no matter what you go through, remember that, and remember to open your Bible and look through his word on the dark days. Don't forget the promise in Isaiah 58:11. He will satisfy your needs, he will strengthen you. All you have to do is turn your eyes toward him once more, and dwell in his Word, in his presence. Let him take care of you, and let him get you through the darkness. There's always a lesson to be learned from these times, and if you're not careful, you might miss it.
